And I close my eyes and thank God that He came so that one day I could see them again . . . ==> "For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water. The 343rd Day . . .

On this 343rd day of 2013, I'm reminded that worrying doesn't remove tomorrow's pain.  It only takes away today's joy.  Pray. He still moves stones . . . ==> "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." ~ . . . Please Pray for My Sister Marlene . . .

~ . . . As my sister (Maya Mells) continues on this slow road to recovery, even as we, indeed, await God's decision in the matter, I'll repeat that on days like this I usually pray the words of David in Psalm 42, and the words of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3.  But I don't WANT to pray those words now.  And yet, I know in my heart of hearts that He desires my "Yet Praise".   And I know in my heart of hearts that He DESERVES my "Even-If-He-Does-Not" kind of worship.  And so I find that I MUST pray in that fashion.  Focusing NOT on the fact that He CAN or that He WILL, but that He's GOD.  And that in MY life He's either God OF all, or He isn't God AT all.  And so I give to Him my prayer, my praise, and my worship.  Even if it hurts me to do so . . . ESPECIALLY when it hurts me to do so.  So as you continue in prayer for my sister, please pray my strength in the Lord.  Thank You . . .

The 339th Day . . .

On this 339th day of 2013, I realize that I've had a lot of smiles and a lot of tears throughout my life. And as I look back over everything, I realize how strong of a presence God has been through it all . . . ==> "Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness." [Lamentations 3:22-23] [As you RESPECT and LOVE one another as hard as you can, please play nice, pray for one another, and enjoy your day.]

On this 338th day of 2013, as my heart and mind revisits His unfailing love for me, I grow weak and fall to my knees in worship . . . ==> "For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations."
